I'm an expat-Angelino living in North Carolina. Their attitude is all proactive and positive, like “how can we get you back to doing the things you want to do?” and yes, they don’t bat an eye at what those things are, they are just all about you staying active. And your post about the problem appearing in one place but the root of the problem lying elsewhere is timely. I am also seeing a PT to get some treatment for some chronic/nagging “things that have not been right” in my body, including my Achilles tendons, hips, and inner thighs…but the problem is old injuries that have tightened up the muscles in my lumbar spine and are keeping me from having full range of motion and muscle activation. Thus those other muscles are overcompensating and getting overused. So it’s two steps backwards (and a lot of patience) for what wil hopefully become a great leap forward :/ Glad to hear you are making progress; hang in there!
